The Royal Grenada Police Force informs anyone desirous of applying for permission to play amplified music that they must first apply to Spice Mas Corporation for permission for their events before applying for a noise permit from the police.
Further, applicants are reminded that all requests for permission to play amplified music must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the event.
Late applications may not be processed. Please be guided accordingly.

Disturbing noises made by kites flying in the air day and night. Kites stuck on electricity cables , kites threads hanging over residents houses, when will the government environmental officer deal with this problem. Real hazards.
Grenada has become a an anxiety hazard of extreme loud music in vehicles and local food shops and bars.
This is getting beyond a joke now because the whole process seems to be under the control of spice mas who only interested in their area and the events in the city.
Now we are by law expected to apply for such licence because the police needs to know in advance what is taking place in that area just incase they need to deploy officers for any reason.
Each application has a fee attached so why involved spice mas?
What is the point in getting a second party involved which will cause administration issues and time wasting .
They should be making it easier to apply for such licences rather than making it very difficult.
Hopefully these requirements will bring some respite from the loud cacophony emanating from the church on Archibald Ave.
LOL….How loud is SDA church? How long does the church service goes for on Saturdays?
