Congratulations to the NDC! . A well organized campaign and well run one too. Now the REAL hard work begins. And it’s going to be an uphill battle. Inflation is out of control and local wages are likely to remain flat. Moreover with US and European investments heading south, and with the CBI on its way out, foreign direct investment in Grenada is likely to contract over the next 2- 5 years. Still, there is light at the end of the tunnel once Grenada has the confidence to implement unprecedented solutions to these challenges. Stay tuned. Its early days yet.
I am still in search of NNP manifesto which was only released two days before elections. Went to NNP website where I attempted to download the manifesto to no avail.
It would been great to have and compare both the NDC and NNP manifestos.
I hope next election manifestos are releases early and there will be at three political debates. One in Carriacou and Two in Grenada.
Why waste your time reading the manifesto?
No political party has ever done what they say they gonna do.
They ain’t gonna start now Hugo!
I hope he keeps his promises, no victimizing, firing, slashing/cutting down on salaries etc. I wish him the best and time alone shall tell what his true intentions are.
It is surprising that, in this day and age, with the amount of information available, people still believe that governments can bring economic propsperity. They can cetainly destroy it- witness Venezuela. Prosperity and progress has always been generated as a result of the imagination and hard work of entrepreneurs. Governments can and should therefore, create the conditions for attracting and supporting such entrepreneurs. Although, having said that, we must recognize thatGrenada, due to its size, will never obtain economic independence, no matter who is power.
Interesting times ahead! The new Mitchell will have more problems keeping that government from collapsing before the next election. The politics now start….. Lmao
Sobering thought. Continue to work together as a team, undivided and respecting each others positions and prior works accomplished. Old saying, United we stand divided we fall. God bless the people who wished for change since it is inevitable but that doesn’t mean we should stop progress. Move forward together as one people, one nation under God. God bless!
I support that 100%
my congratulations to D Mitchell and the NDC. God is on the throne and He saw what the NNP has done to Grenada. Put your trust in GOD to direct and lead to make Grenada a
country we all can be proud of. The people has spoken, it was time for a change, put Grenadian first, do not let foreigners take over our beautiful land and make it their own.
I was home for two weeks and the roads are a mess. God Bless you and always remember to pray before any decision you have to make, God will give you directions.
Good morning fellow Grenadians, always change is good but also scary. As a Nation we have to work together as one people. It’s not about Party it’s about people. Do we want to stay in the same situation or do we as a people want to grow. We have to work together for the sake of Our Country. It’s not Keith or Dixon Country it’s OUR COUNTRY. Wake up. Let’s help and lift each other up.. God Bless Grenada….
Well said!!

GOOD LUCK> Regards from that stranger . { we met in Gouyave in a shop where FLOW take people money, yes the man with the funny hat and feather.}
I’m British here for a while.
My only advice is don’t let the politicians divide you lie they have in Britain. It’s a very popular way of politicians working and it makes for a very bad environment.
I truly hope your politicians, old and new, work hard for everyone. If not, get rid of them.
