RGPF: Non-Capital Murder and Stealing Charges laid


The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has charged Molton Matthew, a 23 year old security officer of Windsor Forest, St David, with non-capital murder following an altercation on Friday 18 April, 2014.

An autopsy report stated that Lyndon Antoine, 27 years old of Windsor Forest, died as a result of skull fracture resulting from trauma to the head. Matthew is due to appear in court early in the week.

Meanwhile, 39 year old Guyanese national, Rawle Nelson, has been formally charged with two counts of stealing by reason of employment, and one count each of forgery and uttering a forged document with intent to defraud. Nelson was scheduled to appear before the St George’s Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 22 April, 2014 at 9am.

Investigations are continuing.
