Curious Little Hands In The Kitchen

The Grenada Food and Nutrition Council’s (GFNC) Curious Little Hands in the Kitchen (CLHK) programme, provides a foundation for healthy eating by inspiring children to learn to cook easy, inexpensive, tasty foods.

Three separate, one week classes will be offered from 14 July to 1 August, in three different parishes. Classes are open to children ages 7-12 years, and participants will be provided with information about nutritious food choices, and given opportunities to practice food preparation techniques.

  • 14-18 July: St Patrick’s RC Primary School, St Patrick
  • 21-25 July: GFNC’s Office, Upper Church Street, St George’s
  • 28 July-1 August: St Joseph’s Convent, St Andrew

Registration is $ 25 per child (non- refundable). Tuition is $75 per child (Price includes all ingredients for preparation.)

Participants will receive all recipes to take home with them, and at the end of the week, participants will receive a CLHK certificate of completion. Light snack will be provided, but please have your children walk with lunch.
