Jointly Charged for Trafficking

Four persons who were assisting police in a drug investigation have been jointly charged with trafficking of and possession of a controlled drug.

Johnel Mc Intosh, 30 years old, Truck Driver of Beausejour (Carriacou); Donetta Prime, 21 years old, Housekeeper of Belvedere (Carriacou); Joseph Rampisson 43 years old, Fisherman of Trinidad & Tobago; and Akwen Yorke, 26 years old, Farmer of St Vincent and the Grenadines; will appear at the Gouyave Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 24 June 2015 at 9 am.

All four persons were apprehended on Sunday, 21 June 2015 during a drug operation in Carriacou, which resulted in the seizure of 196 pounds of compressed cannabis.
