NaDMA warns of fake alert circulating of a pending tsunami

The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) informs the general public that information circulating on various social media platforms alerting the Caribbean of a pending tsunami due to a 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Costa Rica is a FALSE ALERT.

NaDMA reminds the general public that all official disaster-related information is only considered authentic when it is disseminated through our official email and by the relevant personnel at the agency.
