The Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment is pleased to announce the successful completion of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) National Programme Alignment and Reporting Project.

The Project has seen the alignment of Grenada’s National Action Program to the UNCCD Ten-year Strategy, the development of a Communication Strategy to implement the NAP and the preparation of the Fifth National Report to the Convention.

The event features the presentation and launch of the Aligned NAP and the launch of the UNCCD Global Pilot Land Degradation Neutrality Project. The closing Ceremony is carded for Thursday 12 February 2015 at the National Stadium.
