The Ministry of Health’s National Infectious Disease Control Unit (NIDCU), will on Wednesday, 14 February (Valentine’s Day) conduct free HIV Rapid Testing for individuals and couples willing to know their status.
Officials at the unit told the GIS, that testing would run from 9 am to 3 pm and that individuals can ‘just walk-in’ and they would be counselled and given their results the same day.
The exercise billed as ‘A Gift of Love, A Gift of Health, Know Your Status,’ would take place at NIDCU’s headquarters on the General Hospital’s compound, near the newly constructed wing (phase 2).
