I am grateful that Grenada’s agriculture and fisheries sectors remain on call to support our nation’s food security.
Today’s Covid-19 crisis development reminds us all of the importance of ensuring that our farmers and fisherfolk adhere to the health protocols, to keep themselves, their families, workers and contacts safe.
As Senator for Agriculture and Fisheries, I support the efforts of the Ministry of Health and the nation’s frontline workers, to keep the country safe in this unprecedented time. I wish them to know they have my support and the full support of the farmers and fisherfolk in the fight against Covid-19. Their success against the spread of the coronavirus is our success – for the farmers, for the fisherfolk, and for our country.
I appeal to our nation’s farmers and fisherfolk to adhere to the protocols and keep safe.
Roderick St Clair, Senator for Agriculture and Fisheries
What success!! Are you on a different planet. We are all scared for our lives now.
fear? why? did anybody die from covid19 in Grenada?
Most people who test positive don’t even know they had a disease as they have no symptoms.
Those who do get symptoms think they have the flu or dengue.
The only people who die with it are either extremely old or have other severe medical conditions.
This disease is being way overhyped by media internationally.
Since you’re fearful you should probably avoid all soft drinks. Coca-Cola recently tested positive live on camera in the Austrian Parliament. (Look it up). Come to think of it, you should avoids goats and papayas as well. They got positive PCR tests in Africa. Just to be safe, avoid all humans as well. Many of them (like Elon Musk) have gotten a negative test one hour and the very next hour gotten a positive test. It’s a scary world out there. You can never tell from one minute to the next who might infect and kill you.
Jackie is right..and you are right because no one knows who will get infected.. but if we are to believe what we hear and read…no one should be allowed to arrive in Grenada and then go about without testing.. No one has died because so far people has taken great care.. are you saying that young people has not died anywhere in the world.
