Michael Joseph is the latest Carriacou resident to benefit from a new home, constructed by the Division of Housing in the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs & Local Government, in collaboration with business entities and stakeholders.

Joseph who is from the Hillsborough area, received the keys to his new home on Wednesday, from Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs & Local Government Hon. Kindra Maturine-Stewart.

The initiative is part of Government’s commitment to improve the comfort level and standard of living of individuals and families who are in desperate need of housing repair assistance or the construction of a home in some instances.

At the handover, Minister Maturine-Stewart stated that Joseph deserves to benefit from the initiative, as she recalls his service to humanity for many years at the Hillsborough Jetty.

The Minister added that since becoming the Parliamentary Representative for Carriacou and Petite Martinique in 2018, her main interest has been to touch and transform many lives in her constituency, in a positive way and she reaffirmed her commitment to continue doing so.

Joseph expressed heartfelt gratitude to Minister Maturine-Stewart, the staff at the Division of Housing and all stakeholders for assisting him in such a wonderful way.
