During a search conducted by Prison Officers at the Carpenter’s Shop at Her Majesty’s Prisons, on Tuesday, 18 January 2022, a number of items inclusive of illegal drugs were discovered.
The following items were seized during the operation;
- Seventeen (17) packets of Cannabis (7.65 oz.)
- Five (5) cell phones
- Two (2) cell phone chargers
- One (1) headphone
- One (1) cell phone battery
These items were handed over to police for investigative purposes. Investigations are ongoing.

Phone illegal? And 7 oz of weed ? You have men convicted for 300 pounds in there , doesn’t seem news worthy .
So sad as I am sure this is just a small amount of the actual stuff that is in that prison.
We have so much corrupt people in position of authority within the government structure that it would be difficult task trying to remove them.
We need a clean swip including the current administration in order to get things moving.
Sad but true we have a very corrupt system working right around the government staffs from police officers to customs officers.
$$$$$ talk here and honesty is disregard. Everything from all political politics to all the lies the tell us. What GOVERMENT PERSON has had to scratch for a bit of food….answer=NONE. I DON’T KNOW IF GOD CAN SAVE THIS LITTLE ISLAND.
